Frequently Asked Questions

No formal teaching qualification is required. What matters most is that you are fluent or a native speaker of the language you wish to teach, that you genuinely enjoy working with children, and that you have good organisational skills. Our training program gives you everything else you need.
The initial training workshop is typically completed over one to two days. After that you'll have a period of supported practice before receiving your full accreditation. The entire process from application to accreditation usually takes two to four weeks, depending on workshop availability in your area.
We offer a blend of in-person and online training depending on your location and the format available at the time of your application. Please contact us to find out what's currently available in your area.
Training costs vary depending on the type of accreditation and the pathway you choose (teacher, licence holder or franchisee). Please contact us directly for current pricing — we're transparent about all costs upfront with no hidden fees.
Yes — all LCF accredited teachers must hold a current Working With Children Check (or equivalent in their state or territory). This is a legal requirement for working with children in Australia and New Zealand. If you don't already have one, we can guide you through the application process — it's straightforward and affordable.
Once accredited, we help connect you with schools, childcare centres and franchise operators in your area. You'll receive your full teaching resource kit and ongoing support from our team. Many teachers find their first teaching opportunities within weeks of completing their accreditation.
If you are fluent in more than one language, you can apply for accreditation in multiple languages. Each language requires its own accreditation process. Contact us to discuss your situation and we'll advise the best pathway for you.
An accredited LCF teacher typically works as part of an existing franchise, delivering classes on behalf of a franchise holder. A franchisee owns and operates their own LCF business — they may teach themselves and/or employ other teachers. Some teachers later choose to become franchisees as their business grows.
